Northern Circuit Route – 9 Days Kilimanjaro Climb

After registration at Londorossi Gate, begin your trek through the lush rainforest. The trail is rich in wildlife and birdlife before reaching Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

Leave the rainforest behind and enter the heath and moorland zone. Enjoy spectacular views of Kibo Peak while trekking to Shira Camp 1.

Today's trek offers excellent acclimatization opportunities as you cross the Shira Plateau towards Moir Hut. Enjoy stunning views and unique alpine landscapes.

Travel through the remote northern slopes of Kilimanjaro with breathtaking scenery and fewer crowds. Overnight at Buffalo Camp.

Continue across the northern circuit trail while enjoying panoramic views of Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Third Cave Camp for rest and acclimatization.

Trek towards School Hut, the final base camp before summit night. Rest early and prepare for the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Begin your summit attempt shortly after midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters, then descend to Millennium Camp for overnight rest.

Descend through the alpine desert and rainforest zones while enjoying the changing scenery. Overnight at Mweka Camp.

Complete your Kilimanjaro adventure with a final descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate before transfer back to Moshi.
